Art Birthday Party

The twins decided on an art party for their seventh birthday. We invited their friends and created several art stations in our backyard and topped it off with a double sized ice cream cake. It was a blast!

The art stations were canvas painting, coloring bookmarks, decorating fabric totes, candy necklaces and glitter tattoos. As it always goes in our backyard, the kids ended up running in the trees and playing tag in the lawn by the end of the party.

4th in Sunriver

We spent time in Sunriver last week for our Shirzad family vacation. It was so much fun spending time with family relaxing. We swam, biked, hiked, played games, went to the museum, soaked in the hot tub, barbecued, went to Bend for their 4th of July pet parade and festival and watched fireworks. Ok, maybe not a ton of relaxing, but it was a great time!

Happy Halloween!

I think I say this every year, but Halloween with kids is awesome! Before kids, we didn't do much for Halloween, but now the kids' excitement is so contagious and fun.

Summer Time!

So behind on the blog, but most of the house is unpacked and we are having lots of fun enjoying the Yakima sunshine. We joined the tennis club that's near our house so we can go swim in their pool. The girls did swim lessons the first week and we've been spending lots of time there ever since. In June, Lexi and Zara did an art/dance camp every morning for a week. They studied dancing, art, food and music from Jamaica. The twins and I took a road trip to meet up with my sisters and their kids at Great Wolf Lodge. It was great! Now this week, the twins are doing summer camp at the Yakima Country Club every day. They do tennis, golf and swimming every day. Lucky girls!

This is a picture dump from my phone. Here we go.
